Actually, the regular/core WAR servers are pretty much the same as the DAoC server rulesets since some areas are non rvr and then there are large stretches of RvR territory with keeps in them in between the PvE only areas. So things like this video could (and IMO is more likely) to happen on a WAR core ruleset server. Open RvR simply expands the RvR area to the entire zone, thereby diffusing the combatants into a larger area and reducing the opportunity for epic battles. Also allows for ganking.

Actually, the above comment is right about the core rule set. Sure you can't kill anyone anywhere, but it narrows down where the areas are fightable (make up a word). Less spread out people = more concentrated fights.

Ok, see what you mean, these "core" servers are what the guild should be looking for then, cause im big on the giant fights, i just love watching spells being tossed and masses of melee combat going off, it just excites me
