It's understandable that the Daily Show didn't really touch on it, considering it's pretty much old news. There's not really a joke to be said which hasn't been said already. Besides, the idea of Jesse Jackson claiming to want to cut Obama's balls off is so funny and absurd in itself that a joke really wouldn't top or add anything to it.

Well see Colbet and Stewart have vastly different styles of humor. Colbert blatantly acts like an ignorant asshole to gets his laughs.
Stewart leaves that to his reporters, and takes a rational, albeit funny, approach to different subjects.

The Daily Show is awsome, but I do think Jon Stewart is on the nearing th eend of his career.

i think jon stewart has his down days but so does colbert. jon stewart is more sarcasm and stephen colbert is more satire. either way i think they're both hilarious. they're like my hypothetical children. i love them the same in different ways.
