Need some help

I was using my neighboors hd flatscreen monitor while he was in iraq, now that he is back and I went back to using my old comp, now its all wierd, I cant see any icons or anything when it starts up just the things before, such as the nvidia sign and what not. Any help?

on a laptop right now.

Try this. Boot up in safe mode, set resolution to your monitor standard, & restart. I think that may resolve the issue.

Yeah, that did it, thanks bud, Now I gotta buy a HD screen because I got used to it, lol.
