Critical Error?

when i try to play war it says "critical error failed to create render device." Do i have to redownload the beta? because if i do i cant play today!

I really need some help

come on there are 24 of you viewing this someone help!!!!!

First off it's a technical problem so wrong forum (moved it)

Second calm down, the world isn't going to end

Third that error is given when your video card driver and/or directx are outdated, so go get them updated, restart the PC, then try again.

It also happens when using unsupported video card, but I'm sure you saw the requirements and have a card that's supported

oh crap already redownloading beta....... and yes i did the "can you run it?" test and got past minimimum

But your drivers may still be outdated. I was able to play close beta and had out of date drivers. Every chosen in the game was a spider.
