Media center problems

OK I'm over Technetium's house because he had a huge virus on his Dell XPS 410 and i formatted for him and reinstalled his windows XP media center edition. So i downloaded all the drivers for his graphics card, sound card, and TV tuner and when I open media center it says "your video card or drivers are not compatible with media center." It wont let me watch TV, videos, and it can't play source games he could do all that before what should i do?

Make sure the drivers you installed were for media center and not simply the latest drivers available for the card.

Also make sure sure to reinstall the latest directx 9.0c from microsoft.

Did you download ATI/nVidia released drivers or did you get the drivers from Dell. As in so many things with Dell, they are not compatible with standard off-the-shelf components. If you did get the drivers from Dell, then you need to discuss the issue with tech help Hell courtesy of Dell and find out what's up with their junk.

Are you getting any Yellow Triangles in device manager?
If not what version of MCE you running? Do all the updates and get all the roll ups and see if that makes a blind bit of difference? If you already tried that check M$ that there arent any buggered updates that cause the problem.
Or if you are getting warnings in Device manager its definately a driver issue.

Thats all I can think of right now.
