Mouse Lag in WAR?

Sorry if there is a thread on this already, but I searched and didn't see one.

When I'm playing WAR, sometimes my mouse will "lag out" and I can't move it for a few seconds. It doesn't happen too often, but enough to piss me off and get me killed.

I have a Logitech MX Revolution. This hasn't happened in any other games, just WAR.

Do you think if I bought a corded mouse like the G5 it would help? My FPS in the game is fine when it happens so it's nothing like that, the mouse just kinda craps out on me for a bit. And it is usually charged up.

Thanks in advance.

You will get lag with a wireless mouse. Wireless keyboards are prone to the batteries going dead at the worst times as well. You will do much better with wired connections on your input devices. I use a G5 mouse and I like it.

Yup exactly the same as narud I have a MX Revolution and I ended up moving the reciever closer to the mouse to resolve the lag issues. The reciever uses the 2.4GHz frequency, so if you are still getting lag issues might be worth checking if you have any other wireless devices using a similar frequency and change the frequency/channel to stop any deconstructive interference.
