I need drivers! I'll PAY you!

I'm downgrading my Compaq Presario V6700 from Vista to Windows 32x.
I'm told by Bestbuy that I have a 8200M Nvidia card.

And I cannot, for the love of WAR, find a driver for it!

I need sound too.

If anyone gets me working drivers, I'll honest-to-god wire you some money.

A modded INF file is basically an altered .INF file to tell the Laptop that this version of the driver is supported.

But i thought this would be much better for you...
HP Vista - XP Downgrade for dv6000 series Notebooks
This is a page explaining what to do and where to get the drivers after downgrading to XP from Vista on any DV6000 series.

Fingers crossed this should sort you out!

My nVision link has more up to date drivers, and if you follow the instructions on the fastfs site, paired with the nVision drivers and modded INF you should be fine.

True but I don't see any link there to download a modded inf file and I dont think he knows how to mod it himself. I was more concerned about getting it working before looking at the driver update.

Ah, I understand. The modded INF files are found when you select a driver. When you pick on, it has a link for the Driver, and next to it a link to the Modded INF that corresponds with that driver
