Need Help

OK here we go. I have pre-ordered WAR. I have done everything i need to go except download the beta from fileplanet. I get there and do what i am suppose to and it places into a que to download the file. Problem is it never does download. I hit refresh and nothig ever happens. I have had it pop up a window and say that it is downloading but after i click ok nothing happens. All firewalls are down and virus scanners off. Any ideas? i am running Vista.

I have a AMD dual core 2.6 processor
250 gig harddrive
3 gigs of pc3200 ram
8800gt video card

Does the same thing for me. I'm wondering if they don't have downloads closed for a while. I'll browse Mythic's website to see what I can find.

Silly Vista!!
Okay, I fixed mine... have Vista as well and had to "Run as Administrator". Worked just fine!

New to vista.. how do i change it over?

Instead of double-clicking on the desktop icon, right click it, and choose "Run as Admin" from the menu.

Vista is picky... you'll have to do this the first time you try to run most programs. It just takes me a while before I remember...
