I don't either, router has a good firewall by itself

that's a shame, I'm using AVG right now, as one of the few AV progies that work right on Vista. I guess I'll just have to obtain Pro version.

Ah, there is misunderstanding there

AVG is still very much active and alive. However, you have to upgrade to newest version 7.5, version 7.1 is no longer supported.

As of February 18th, 2007, AVG 7.1 Free Edition is no longer supported. If you are still using AVG 7.1 Free Edition, please take action now to remain safe by downloading the new AVG 7.5 Free Edition. Do not leave your self unprotected. Click here to upgrade now!.

Hmmm I use AVG, Armor2Net and Windows Defender and still I got a trojan on my pc 2 weeks ago and had to use my Windows C backup, couldn't restore my pc... isn't there a firewall / computer protecter wich makes it 100% secure? =P

I doubt it was AVGs fault for you getting that Trojan. Just be more careful on the
net. Dont go onto sites you are unsure of and dont use programs like Kazaa unless
you know what you are doing.

Tuneup Utilities 2007 is good for cleaning and speeding up your rig. Has other stuff to play with too, good program free for 30 days.

Only thing you can do to be more secure is to be more educated. Sounds like you downloaded an infected executable. I haven't had a virus or trojan in 3 years.

I use www.driveragent.com quite a bit. Scans your machine and looks for updated drivers, whether you need them or not. Very easy and user friendly.

Down Side, its 30 bucks PER YEAR> which isnt bad.
