Hmm, somewhat. I think I know what your saying, simply the longer I wait to buy a new comp (if I do), the more I will get for my money. Because everything downgrades so quickly, new stuff comes out, and prices drop. I think I am just going to get a new comp instead of upgrading this one, but do you think selling the comp as a whole would be better then selling it piece by piece?

People don't generally like to buy used systems as a whole, unless you can find someone that you know who is looking to upgrade an old system. Online, people are either looking for parts, or they will buy a whole system from a dealer they trust. Easier to sell the parts...
And yeah, if your dead set on buying a new system, please try and wait until at least when the beta invites go out, and at best wait unitl right before it's released to the public, to get the most for your money. You'll be so glad you did. Computers change alot in only 6 months, and with dx10 around the corner, you know the vid cards are gonna go through another overhaul before AoC comes out. Patience is a real virtue, unless your buying something that doesn't become obsolete (like RAM, or a monitor for example).

I have always pieced out old computers of mine, and gotten alot more for the parts seperately than with the whole machine. I had some ram once that was apparently really rare it was old though so I didn't think I'd get much for it, but I sold it for double what I paid for it. So you never know what you're sitting on till you sell it.
