well im bored

post some ideas so that thunder can improve the website

Along the lines of the auction houses... I think it would be good to have in-house trading, selling and here "take this crap sword its better than what you have". You can accomplish this on the message boards and/or after a hard day defending the castle over a few pints. Peeps can make requests for items they are searching for, would like to sell/donate or what they would like to trade for. Even items they are not using for others to borrow or rent.

If no one wants the item or its rare and you want to sell for a boat load thats kewl, but be nice for guildies to have a shot at getting what they want or need instead of paying another guild

for it.

Speaking of website, what is your plan Sean for LoS website. Are we just going to stick to forum based website or do you plan on making more all around graphical site?

If you need any help with gathering the materials, templetes (I have some 8000 web templetes, no it's not misstyped, it's 8K), brainstorming ideas, hosting, online storage, anything, just say the word we'll do our best to help.

Thanks for the offer, I'll be tweaking the graphics more as time goes on. But, I will be keeping the CMS though, since it's easy to update and provides all the useful information that anyone would need.

Do we not like the front webpage that is connected to the forums? It has an event calendar, latest poll, some links, a spot for news/announcements. Is it not attractive, or does it need more link pages off it, seperate pages for information? I thought the front page looked pretty OK.. what does everyone else think? Is it not an appealing look, too boring?

I'm still considering on what I'm doing for a chatroom. As for the site, it's not done like I've said before. I put up what I could quickly so the membership has something to use. The CMS is staying, since it's easy to update the site.

as we get closer to release, I'm sure Sean will have things covered when it comes to more forums (for trading, class discussions, quests and others).

Some feats I'd enjoy are more options beneath the "navigation" bar on our main page, but that's in progress too I'm sure.

At this time however, I have no other requests/ideas

I think teh site is fine as it is. Maybe it could look a little better but sa of yet it does the job fine. I can't think of any other additions after a chat room, other than maybe a quote of the week from our forums.
