Router Issues

I have a D Link DIR 615 Router and for some reason the router gets a differetn IP address than my Cable Modem. It causes me to loose net connection from time to time. anyone have an idea what this could be about?

Do you have a static ip? If so perhaps try and set your router with your static ip, the dhcp is likely malfunctioning somehow.
