So you can either upgrade the CPU and RAM to better ones to meet the Motherboard specs, or just change the motherboard to one that meets the CPU and RAM specs.

On another point, I have that case, the side fans don't push that much air out, but it works till you can replace them later on. Also the front face is a royal pita to handle when installing the DVD Rom.
This is incorrect. This motherboard supports modes: 1333/1066/800/533 Mhz FSB, and you can use any speed(533/667/800/1200MHz) 240-pin DDR2 memory.

you can check the stats here: http://www.evga.com/products/moreInf...132-CK-NF78-A1

You can use whatever speed memory up to the motherboards maximum on pretty much any motherboard that requires 240-pin ddr2 memory.

Incomplete information in Newegg made me reach that conclusion. Thanks for the correction Gorgel, guess it's time to email Newegg

NP, there are actually a lot of socket 775 LGA boards on newegg's site that only list 1333/1066 modes, 95% of the time though, those boards will support down to 533 fsb.

The reason why is because everything on a motherboards kind of runs in synchronicity, so if a motherboard supports down to say... ddr2 533 memory, then it has to support down to a 533mhz fsb processor.

This is also why when you overclock your cpu, your memory is automatically clocked up as well.

So the list is fine overall? And is it a good list?
