Phantom PCI device
I have some phantom PCI device and don't know how to get rid of it and my suspicion is that this is what's leading to my IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL crashes. Also my computer tends to restart itself during gaming, its not overheating i got a bunch of fans but it may be my power supply its a 680 watt, and im powering a AMD Athlon dual core, 8600 GT and 2 gigs of ram, could that be it? please help with either of the issues.

A Not less or equal BSOD generally indicates a ram problem. I would suggest running memtest overnight or for a day and see if it brings up any errors. Also try running just one stick alone, then the other alone, and see if you can eliminate the problem.
A missing driver for a device in device manager is probably an unlikely culprit. (since it doesn't seem to happen at a given time, just happens randomly) |

I ran the ram test, it was fine and the PCI Device is called PCI Device, i have a suspicion this is from my other motherboard that ended up sucking and vista has it in it's memory.

If you swapped your HDD into a new mobo, you are probably going to be in a world of hurt. It is HIGHLY recommended by MS that you reinstall your OS when you change mobos.
OMFG! Post 100, a year after joining LoS. I am a prolific mofo.

If you changed mobos without formatting your HD and reinstalling OS, that is almost certainly the source of your PCI issue. The random shutdown could be heat related if your CPU heatsink fins are clogged with debris regardless of the number of fans you run. Check to see that the spaces between the heatsink fins are not clogged with dust bunnies. The mobo change could be causing your OS conflicts to the point that it shuts the PC down as well.
