well im now kinda polling this question when i was fitting the motherboard it seamed to have excessive flex of the board in 1 corner and was concerned about tightening it down and causing damage to the board, theres about 1.5mm gap between the mb and the mounting peg.in that corner
apart from that i was flying but im gonna start on it again tomm, narud |

ok didnt get chance to finish off the build yesterday.
well the good news its built its booting up just installing all my software and im chuffed. Newbie problems i had with building 1. a few cable issues which a quick call to my mate put me on the right track 2. the the motherboard not sitting correctly on the posts (thnx for advice on that pedro) 3.Just general cable management think its gonna take a few runs to get all the cables secured out the way nice and tidy. 4. the floppy disk drive not fitted atm till i get screws that fit the mounts on it Overall i found it relatively challenging, but what ive learnt from this is it aint hard just takes abit of time and patience and someone to point you in the right diretion when you have a problem. Well now to spend the rest of the evening installing software to new pc A big thankyou again to all those who helped with bits of advice on this home build cheers narud |

Grats on building your first PC, and we all hope it won't be the last, it becomes easier after a few more builds to the point that you don't think about where things go, you just know
Like playing Lego's!The motherboard and/or the case should have brought enough screws of different sizes to get that floppy mounted.
