Wierd display problems.

Ok, it started happening when I got my new, larger monitor. I can move my mouse outside of my monitor on the right and bottom. When I move it to the top or the left it stops before going off my screen. Never thought it mattered much until some of my apps started opening up outside of my screen, I know this because when I minimize it and maximize it I see it fly out of the screen while opening. Whats going on?

1.- Are you using dual monitors?

2.- Did you check the video advanced settings (nvidia/ati program) that lets you set the dual or more monitors configuration?

Sounds like your windows is thinking that your current monitor is the bottom right of a chain of monitors.

you probably have it set up so it THINKS there is two monitors yet there is only one.

Go into display properties and make sure only one monitor is enabled

Also check it in your Nvidia (or ati) control panel to ensure only one monitor is active.
