My friggin Internet

k so i have internet, Firefox, and IE are working great, but nothing else like games n xfire wont connect,

I checked the firewall, the anti-virus, did a system restore, reinstalled programs,
disabled firewalls, ran virus scans, restarted routers.

Im on vista ultimate 64 bit, on some verizon DSL i ogot 2 days ago it was working fine yesterday all of a sudden it ate it.

There could be a problem with ports. If all else fails, contact your isp. I'm terible at networking so I can't be of much help.

Have you tried bypassing the router and plugging straight into the modem? If that works, you know it's probably a problem with the router. Your router may have a firewall or you may have to open ports manually on your router.
