You should see the show that Discovery shows every other month about the future of cars, there are already running and working solar, water and even air cars, that uses not a drop of gasoline.
Problem is the oil companies still holding them back, but not as much as before, and of course the US won't allow them for a while for A) Govmt gets richer with oil comsuption, B) Too many "gas" mechanics would need retrained for the new cars, C) They won't meet the safety requirements since most are fiber glass and small/medium sized in contrast to current SUV's and trucks on the roads. But I for one will be trying to get my hands on a Volt or that little canadian ZENN ![]()
