Computer Memory and NICs?

I was just putting together some component builds and I was wondering about two things: memory and network interface cards. The overall build would be something along the lines of:

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz 6MB Cache 1333MHz FSB
750 Watt Multi-GPU Approved Power Supply
Dual 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800 GT – SLI Enabled
NVIDIA® nForce 680i SLI Motherboard
500GB (2 x 250GB) SATA 3Gb/s 7,200RPM 2 x 16MB Cache

Now when it comes to memory, I was wondering how much a difference there would be between:

2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz
and
2GB OCZ/Corsair/Patriot Low Latency Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz

and would it in any way affect, or be affected by a network interface card such as a Killer K1 NIC

I would assume that the OCZ/Corsair/Patriot memory would be better, but is a NIC necessary? Any thoughts from you component-savvy people?

All (to my knowledge) motherboards come with a nic. The "Killer NICs" and gaming nics are just a waste of money. Those network cards will have no noticeable difference over the one on your motherboard other than cost you 150 bucks. Are FPS based on latency? No. Is your latency based on how good your nic is? No. (well, to an extent, if you have a 10mbit only nic, that means your computer is 20 years old and it's time to upgrade anyways). latency is based off of your ISPs speed and bandwidth, location to the server, and the quality of the server.

As far as the memory goes, i am assuming the timings on the top one are something like 5-5-5-15 at say...1.9v, while the low latency stuff is probably 4-4-4-12 at a slightly higher voltage. In that case, no, there will be no noticeable difference in performance if those are the only differences between the ram. (unless you are talking about overclocking purposes, then thats a different story)
