Max FPS and Graphics card needed for WAR?

I'm getting a new computer for WAR, seeing as my current one is quite rusty.
I can't seem to find (sorry if I missed it) what the max FPS will be for WAR, I'm guessing 60? Would it be worth it to buy dual 512 8800GT's, or should I just buy one and save my money?

Thanks for the help!

I would always go with 1 card over sli. for the price you spend for sli you can get a monster of a card. Sli generally only gives 20% increase if that over the first card. (or so I have been told). Only reason I would get sli is if you wanted more than 2 monitors. I have a single 8800gts 640mb and have never had a problem with a game.

Also Dusk, you can get a X2 card now and have one card while basically have the same horsepower as a SLI set-up. The X2 cards are the best option right now, imo, if the cash is not a huge issue.

My computer has an 8800GT and it has only a few problems playing Crysis on High, I think its a fine card.

Wait...Is this for a laptop or a desktop?
Anyways I would stick with a good ATI card, they always seem to work better than Nvidia to me...

The WAR people have said in many interviews that you will not need a hot-rod computer to play.

I will probably buy a new midrange card for WAR when it comes out, here is a sweet roundup at Anandtech.com

AnandTech: The Radeon HD 4850 & 4870: AMD Wins at $199 and $299

These guys are REALLY detailed... sometimes I don't know if they make decisions easier or harder, lol!

Holy Jebus dude! 600 duckets in graphics cards? Your PC is gonna sound like a helicopter with all that cooling!

Totally jealous BTW...

You better be getting a giant Hi-Res monitor or 4 to hook that up to or you are wasting huge pixel pushing power!

I will probably get 1 4850, I am running an 8800GT OC now and can't really slow it down much, I can't imagine the use for 2 4870's...

Well, I don't have anything yet BUT I will be purchasing an insane monitor for college because of my new job pays awesomely for someone my age.(I get an biiig check in 2 weeks.)

And my parents are buying me a new PC for my graduation. My dad said he wouldn't pay for both cards so I had to buy the other one myself. BUT YES! I am INCREDIBLY excited.

Im especially excited since my current computer sucks and this is a gigantic upgrade for me.

Im going from a 3.4 ghz P4 to a 2.66 ghz 45nm Core 2 Quad, and a Radeon X1600 Pro to those beasts. Its going to be especially epic when I overclock everything.

Sorry for braggingish, im just so friggin excited XD
