Vent probs with WoW

I don't know if any of you still play wow, but there is a problem. have you guys ever encountered vent crashing in the background with WoW on? Or ever happened since the new patch? I've tried every way to fix it. I hope it doesn't happen with War. Oh man I can only imagine.. that its time for a new computer, which i wont get any time soon yet....

I have not experienced any problems using vent while playing WoW. However, both my brother and another friend of ours always have problems getting vent to work with WoW.

lol what am I suppose to play trying to past time by for WAR? So i can't stop playing wow.. Im asking if there is any wayz to fix it? if there is.. please do tell.. besides.. "Stop playing wow"

Is it only wow? check by playing another game online n using vent n see if it still happens. When it crashes does it give you an error report/code? If so google it you'll never be the only one with the problem.

When you crash if nothing pops up with the error code go into your vent folder (the one u installed it into) and look for an error report then google it.

Bout as much help as i can give ya im pretty hopeless at pc's. hehehe

Well you don't want us to tell you the truth

Seems that by what you wrote, it started after some new patch in WoW, you might want to check the WoW tech forums (if there's any) about this, and the Ventrilo forums as well.

You could try running Vent in administrator mode before launching WoW.

i have tried to launch vent before wow.. I freeze up on load up screen for wow afterwards. Well i KNow i should stop playing wow.. im just saying if there is a solution .. I've checked the wow forums and they have just closed the thread for it and never solved it. I've tried using the ingame voice chat and it crashes too, kind of sucks. I was thinking it was the new patch or its my computer. And no it didnt happen with the other games.. Guild wars was fine.... Yea i only played two games.. hellgate.. i uninstalled it.. so i stopped playing that.. maybe TS would work but ..... Im not a TS fan...

Oh and i forgot.. I installed a new sound card cause the one integrated in the motherboard.. my mom broked it.. sad right? So um.. could that be the problem as well?

And you wonder why we're encouraging you to quit Wow? Here's a hint: they don't give a shit about you or their game; they just want your money.
