WAR and Macs

So I have a Mac book and am hoping to play WAR. I have already partitioned my hard drive to 32gigs running on Windows XP. I hope to install WAR this way but I am not a techie to say the least. If there is any advice you could give let me know or if you see a problem with this course of action let me know.

Mythic will most likely release a Mac version as well. If they dont they would limit there player base/income so I dont know why they wouldnt do that.

But, will it be released at the same time as the PC version? WoW waited a while to release it's Mac version if I remember correctly.

I dont think theyd wait long if at all. Mac versions of games are more common now so it shouldnt be an issue

I wouldn't hold my breath. Blizzard as a deal with Apple which is why most of the games playable on a Mac or made by Blizzard. I haven't heard anything from EA on even wanting to start making games for the Mac so I'd play it safe.

If there was a Mac version, Mythic would probably not develop it, they would hand it off to TransGaming Technologies
TransGaming Inc.

They do all of EA's Mac related games.

Seriously? What game has released on the Mac in the recent future that is worth a darn? Haha. And the player base on Macs? That would add about 2 more people i think. The main issue with gaming on a Mac is you have to run it through bootcamp most likely. Thus, consuming resources that could be put towards the game. Also, you'll be hard pressed to find a mac with a decent video card.
