Hey guys I just got 8800 gs video card
Newegg.com - EVGA 384-P3-N851-AR GeForce 8800 GS 384MB 192-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards and was what your guys opinions of using a HDTV as the primary with a computer monitor as a side or vice versa. I am not sure if it is even posible but I think so, have to see what cables come with it. Reason I ask is because I would like to run a second monitor on my computer, however want the most bang for the buck as it were. Thank you for your help in advance. Currently have a 19 inch non widescreen monitor, want to get a widescreen at least 23. Honestly don't care if it is CRT, not like it will move much.

It will work using either the HDTV cables that are supplied with the card or get a DVI-HDMI adapter/cable. What kind of picture quality you get will be more dependent upon the quality/specifications of the display. The GPU will determine what detail/FPS you get on a given display.
