HDTV Problem
I'm currently using my Sony Bravia 40" as my PC monitor. Now it works fine and dandy if I set the screen setting to full (seems to stretch to fit), but if I put it at the intended 1920x1080 resolution it scrunches onto the right side of the screen and because it's the native resolution I can't change the screen setting to Full. How do I get it on the right res without it being pushed into the right side of the screen?

Don't know if this will relate to you J, but I also have a HDTV I use sometimes for PC purposes in the living room.
As you know standard definition uses a smaller window in the TV than HD, so when I switch to a HD channel I have to press a "Format/Mode" button on my control remote to have it expand to HD size. When I use the PC on it, it has more than 2 "Formats", if your control remote has this, play with it see if it changes your viewing window while in PC mode and fixes that problem of the image going to the right.

I also have my 40" Sony Bravia as a 2nd monitor hooked up with on HDMI on AV5 (HDMI 2 + Phono Inputs) but no display issues.
From the remote go into Tools -> Picture Mode -> Vivid/Standard/Cinema (Which ever your using), Move down to the Screen option and should be set as... Target Inputs: All Screen Format: Wide Auto Format: On Display Area: Normal if you find your bleeding over the edges change Display Area: Pixel if you not reaching the edges try Display Area: -1 I generally find Display Area: -2 Bleeds over the edge of the screen
